Norway Maple Tree in Sidbury

A Norway Maple Tree in Sidbury

A mature Norway Maple with significant die back of the crown and partially overhanging a school playing field. The tree was within a conservation area, so permission from the local authority was required. After liaising with East Devon District Council on the customer’s behalf, we obtained permission to dismantle the tree due to its structural integrity being compromised. The work was scheduled in to coincide with the half-term holiday to avoid any disruption to the school.
As always the work was safely carried out and the site was left tidy on completion. And at the customers request we carved a chair into the stump for their grandchildren to play on.
Another suitable tree will also be planted to replace it.
