In this project we were tasked with de limbing and removing the tops from a group of Douglas Fir in a woodland near Dartmouth, they were in close proximity to a minor road and a water treatment plant. These works were undertaken to allow the forestry contractors who were working the site to safely winch over the resulting stems.
